Tobias Rein

Tobias is one of the founders of the travel platform GetYourGuide. Born and raised in Uster, he attended high school in Wetzikon before studying electrical engineering at ETH Zurich. One year after his Master's degree and during his PhD studies, Tobias founded GetYourGuide together with ETH students Johannes Reck, Tao Tao, Martin Sieber and Pascal Mathis.

Travellers use GetYourGuide to discover the best things to do in a destination – including walking tours with top local experts, immersive food and drink tours, cooking and craft classes, skip-the-line tickets to the world's most iconic attractions, bucket list experiences and niche offerings you won't find anywhere else.

Since its launch in 2009, travellers from over 170 countries have booked more than 200 million tours, activities and attraction tickets through GetYourGuide. Powered by a global team of over 800 travel experts and technologists, the company is headquartered in Berlin, Germany, with offices in 15 countries around the world.
